Funnels don’t change anything

Sales funnels are popular because they’re simple. They promise higher transaction value. They help you focus on the numbers that matter. They require less upkeep than a website. Regardless of whether you’re offering products or services, high-ticket or low-ticket, virtual or physical, sales funnels are a practical and straightforward way to organize your marketing ecosystem. 

But there’s a catch.

Sales funnels, like any other marketing system, can break easily. And by that, I mean there are a lot of ways that people can “fall out” or “leak” from your sales funnel, much in the same way they would have left your pipeline if you had a paper-based sales process 25 years ago. Markets change, buying patterns change, advertising platforms change, everything changes. And funnels don’t change that.
